Busy Fall Weekend

We do love an action packed weekend. As much as Laurie does not love traveling, we have realized if we are making a trip, we need to make the most of it. So when the Fair Family (Will's Mom's side) decided to have a reunion in the grove before the Ole Miss / Vanderbilt game this weekend, we thought while we were up north, we ought to go see Aunt Jane and Uncle Bob in Dyersburg. And while we are going to Dyersburg, we can't pass through Memphis without letting Laurie see the Peabody ducks.

I am not to proud to admit that Mommy may have been more excited about Laurie seeing the ducks than Laurie was actually excited about seeing the ducks. We got there just in time to harass them for a few minutes before they had to march up to the roof for the night. Did you know the Peabody ducks only work for 3 months before they retire? I need that life!

Laurie loved her visit, new people to dazzle with her sweet smile and lots to explore. We can't wait to go back when we can stay longer.

What a fun game! Laurie's first football game was a good one, with Daddy's two favorite teams playing, we couldn't lose. I was so proud of how well she did. She loved when the crowd cheered and cried when they booed, sounds like a real fan in the making.

The minute we hit the road, Pudding passed out, cell phone in hand and pacifier in mouth.
