Anna Fair Turns 4!

My favorite 3 year old became my favorite 4 year old yesterday.  We may no have a big party to celebrate, but it didn't stop us from having lots of fun.  We decorated cupcakes for our class at school.

Those are some really loud cupcakes!
 Birthday Waffle.
Another pre-Henry project finished.  We wanted to chart the kid's growth, but wanted to do it on something we could take with us.  So, we got a board, spray painted it yellow and marked off the length to look like a giant ruler and hung it on the wall.  Anna Fair was 3 feet, 4 inches on her birthday!  It's funny, but so far, the girls are growing at the exact same rate.
Birthday present time!  Laurie was a sweet sister and was really excited to help pick out and wrap the presents for her sister.  And equally excited to help her unwrap and play with them.

Our birthday trip to Chuck E Cheese.  And what a treat, Chuck made a personal appearance and high fived the birthday girl!  What a fabulous 4th birthday!

Henry at Home

Henry is 3 weeks old today and is such a joy.  Except for the 12 and 3 am feedings, he is an absolute lamb.

Tell me I'm wrong, but the baby rattles are precious?  Eat him up.

" Take a picture of me and Henry."
This is one of my current favorites.  You may not see it, but there are tiny supermen flying around the tall buildings.

He sleeps like a champ in the cradle in the den, no matter if the tv is on, kids screaming, lights bright.  In his own bed in his room, not so well.

Anna Fair is such a sweet little mother, she wants to help do everything and picks out his clothes for him.  She loves this footie with a little bunny on it.
Henry's first bath.  I had lots of helpers till he started screaming bloody murder.

About 50 times a day, we hear, "Can I hold the baby??"  I'm so glad they love him, but we wish they loved him just a little bit less.  You wouldn't think we would need to say, "Don't poke the baby in the eye.  Don't jump on the baby.  Don't wake the baby up.  Don't shake him.  Don't lay on him.  Don't put your feet in his face.  Don't take his pacifier away from him."  but you would be wrong.  I guess it's a blessing from God that any younger sibling survives their older ones.
