Laurie and I took off to spend some time in my hometown with my family. It was easier to be there for several days to have her settled down. I think Mom and Dad got their fill of us. As we left Dad said, "Babies are a lot more work than I remember." Does that mean he was glad to see us go?
Then on Friday, Will drove down to meet us at Lake St John for some relaxation. Neither Laurie nor Josie seem to care for the lake.

Where's that poor girl's life jacket? Makes me feel much better about my kids biking without helmets.
