The replacement piece for Laurie's kitchen finally came in and Will was able to finish putting her birthday present together. It was pretty hysterical to see her face as she came into the den and saw her new kitchen in all its splendor. Without skipping a beat, she went straight to work stirring and washing and baking. Though Daddy says she needs to play with it a big longer to make up for the time he spent putting it together.
First on the menu, soup. Now we have great fun pulling every item out of the kitchen and not helping put it all back. When I am working in the kitchen, I especially enjoy seeing her toil away in her own little corner. Brings a smile to my face each time.
