We made it to the fair in the nick of time, it was so rainy all week, I really thought we would miss it this year. Laurie is still not savy enough to realize she could ride the rides, so we just walked around, enjoyed the sites, the fair food, and of course, the petting zoo. Lamas, goats, cows, sheep, and camels, oh my!
We had a really busy day recently, with only time for a short nap. Will went in to get her, but she was bound and determined it was not time to wake up. They snuggled like this for a good hour. Momma was debating in her head how hard it was going to be to put her down for bed time, but I couldn't bear to interrupt. Daddy was in hog heaven.
What I am supposing to be our last opportunity to attend Mommy and Me at the library for a while. Or at least to go with just the two of us. Or even to go consistently. This was a really rainy day, so our small group had a grand time together. Let me add that Laurie only likes this one particular book at the library. It makes animal noises, she looks hard for it each week, and if some other scoundrel grabs it before her, she hovers close and waits for her opportunity to steal it and run. We need to work on sharing.
Already working on her bad taste. Friends shouldn't let friends over-accessorize.
Who knows who is helping who, but with two handymen in the house, all our chores will be finished in no time.
