More 6

To start her birthday, we enjoyed birthday waffles.

She was so proud of her crown from school and wore it all day.  Laurie has been begging to learn to play an instument, so we thought we'd start with piano.  The keyboard with all it's fun options has been a great starter.

She's measuring in at 3'11", good grief, she's getting big!

We gave her a few options for her party this year and she chose a Valentine theme.   We started off decorating Valentine cards.  We've got some real talented little artists that spent the entire party diligently working on their cards.

Anna Fair and Anna Claire.  I love little sisters.

We were so lucky to have a beautiful day and enjoyed moving the party outside.

Laurie was so sweet flitting from friend to friend.  She was glad to see everyone and enjoy her day with all her buddies.

Then we moved inside to decorate our own cupcakes and sing happy birthday to Laurie.
One delusional mother said, you sure were smart to have your party on the same day as red day at school!  Yeah, that was just a very lucky coincidence, nothing I ever do is that well planned out.  But they sure do all look precious in their coordinating red.

For party favors, we filled up cups with candy and handed out valentines necklaces before sending everyone home.

And made short work of tearing into all our gifts.  Happy birthday, sweet girl!
